6 Pieces, Bachmann G scale train. B&O Royal Blue Line.
Locomotive 1332 with engineer figure shown in window.
Tender/cola car ‘Royal Blue Line’
Passenger car 1051 ‘New York Philidelphia Baltimore & Washington’
‘US Mail’ 1083
‘Baggage and Express’ 820
Bachmann Transformer. Operational as per a voltage meter, positive and negative voltages check good. Note, red the flip crank handle has a tab broken and has been glued. Operable and does not effect operations.
Engine and all cars have no visual issues, all trim pieces appear present and intact, none broken.
One lamp illuminates in the passenger and mail cars with 9v battery, (not included). Unknown how to access 2nd bulb in each to see if it’s burnt out, loose or what.
The engine audio works when battery is inserted into the coal car and plugged into the locomotive and turned on. Unknown if any lights, sounds, etc. should be observed at this point. Pictures of the inside of the stack are shown, unknown how to check if stack smoke works. I assume it draws power from the rails for this function due to the high current draw required.
No track to check/test locomotive on, but considering the great shape of this piece and all other items obtained at this estate auction I have no doubt all is operational.
I’m not a train engineer (hobbyist), but I am an electrical engineer and have tested and described to the best of my abilities. Check pics, ask questions before bidding.
